January 4th, 2012, a new world record for one of the most respected franchises of all time, Pac-Man, was set. Dave Race, from Dayton, Ohio, managed to get the maimum score possible in the game of 3,333,360. People have done this before, but no one has done it quite as fast, taking 3 hours and 33 minutes to hit that score before the level 255 game reset. He shaved over 55 seconds off his previous best to achieve this goal. Even more impressive, he did this on the stand-up arcade version, not sitting comfortably at a cocktail.
