More iCade goodies coming from Ion
When people clamored for ThinkGeek.com April Fools ad for the iCade, it was eventually made into a reality by the people over at ionaudio.com. I recently got one myself, and its a rather neat and useful kit thats turned my android tablet into a mini arcade machine. And there's more gaming goodness coming from the same folks this year.

The first two are rehashes of current products available on the market. First is the iCade Mobile, which turns your iPod (and maybe compatible Android handsets) into a handheld gaming device. However, I feel that the iControlpad is a much better choice. The second is the iCade Core, which eliminates most of the arcade cabinet and just leaves the controls with a small platform for your tablet. The original iCade is a much better look, and I will be skipping the Core model. However, the third model is the one to get excited about....

The iCade Jr is designed in the same way as the original, only this time sized for your cell phone instead of your tablet. Sporting four buttons this time and a small joystick, this isn't nearly as large as the original iCade, but makes a great dock for your cell phone at the office desk and allows you to get some arcade style gametime during your breaks. This little thing is sure to be a hit just like the original iCade, and perhaps even more so as there are many more smartphone owners than cell phone tablets. Price and release date are undetermined, but rumor has it that the Jr model will be releasing no later than this summer.
